Papa John's Pizza - Oakland

Quite unethical and rude experience at this location. I ordered via the Papa Dough Rewards, but when I came to pick up my pizza, the pizza was not made, and the order receipt was in the garbage. They said I didn 't pay and so they did not make the pizza, and threw the order receipt back into the garbage. I tried to explain how Papa Dough Rewards works, and that if I pay using Papa Dough Rewards, it will show on the receipt label that I paid Cash $0.00 . They said no, that 's not how it works. It 's quite unfortunate that they didn 't know how their own app works. They then proceeded to say We don 't care about you. That was quite strange and I simply left. Overall, I love Papa John 's pizza, but this location, particularly the manager NJ and the employees...they can be quite rude and unethical. This is actually the second time they 've simply cancelled and not made my order because I used Papa Dough Rewards to make the order. Attached is a picture of the gentlemen who were quite rude and unhelpful.

I waited 2 hours for my pizza to be delivered and it never came so I called back and they said that they already delivered it to me lol so they said they was gonna send somebody else out to redeliver so I waited 2 more hours and they never came..so I called back and they stopped answering my calls lol that's BAD BUSINESS so I used my other phone and they picked up and I explained what's been going on and then they put me on hold an they never clicked back over to me.. I don't think I'll ever order from that location ever again!!!! This is in Oakland California fruitvale I never in my life experience this type of behavior from a business!!!!!

I called the store because my son found a piece of hair in the slice of pizza he was eating. I called the store to inform them hair was found in a slice of pizza. The gentleman pretended like he couldn’t understand me saying there was hair in the pizza. He understood everything I said up until that point. He put me on hold without prompting and did not come back to the phone. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. Clearly someone is not wearing a hair net. I will escalate this issue further since he refused to resolve my issue.

I received a cold pizza. Then they guy couldn't find my order. He handed me the food and didn't ask for a payment. I let him know I didn't pay and he said nothing at all. Rung me up and I told him Thank you. That was my first time ordering from Popa John's in California. I ate it onc3 before about 10 years ago in Arizona and it taste good.

They always have a smile and fresh pizza. Very good service
