What a pleasant surprise! The ramen soup at this restaurant is full of flavor and the noodles are perfectly chewy. The soft-boiled egg is cooked just right and the portion sizes are generous. It's not easy for a new ramen place to thrive so close to Marufuku, but Momo Ramen is holding its own. The Korean fried chicken is incredibly tasty and juicy. What Margaret Lee doesn't like about Momo Ramen:
In looking at the menu online for a second visit, I forgot why I hadn?t saved this ramen shop on my likes. After the first sip of spicy miso broth, I quickly remembered why. No flavor. Beyond inmemorable, the broth was noticeably lacking any depth ? a lot in spice, but barely any miso. The slices of pork belly were served cold. The presentation, not very presentable. A side order of chicken karaage, again, flavourles... View all feedback.
A decent option as an alternative to the nearby Ramen Shop if you prefer not to wait or pay extra. The only downside was that my tonkatsu bowl wasn't hot enough for my liking (I prefer my food very hot). The corn and egg were cold from the refrigerator, which cooled down the flavorful broth. Eating lukewarm food, especially soup, is not ideal.
Located at the corner of College and Claremont, this recently opened restaurant provides a more affordable option compared to the well-established Noodle Theory just across the intersection. I thoroughly enjoyed the tonkatsu ramen and plan on returning to sample the donburi.

The tempura oysters are the best I have ever had. They are slightly soft and flavorful. I got the Shoyu Ramen medium spicy and it's got a great kick and is full of flavor. It's perfect for a cold night. The chashu is tender and flavorful. I'll definitely be coming back again and again.

But the menu selection does look yummy, only I?m not sure I want to give the place a third try.
