Grandma’s Hands - Oakland

Oh my this food was super effin’ delicious! We got the oxtails and meatloaf and it’s the best I’ve had since I’ve moved out here from Mississippi. It reminds me of my grandmas cooking.

The greens are and the Mac n cheese is too I believe alot of the reviews are haters the food is amazing

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I was simply looking for a place to eat in the city. I really liked the food, it was delicious, and the customer service was excellent.

I am giving this restaurant two stars mainly because of the poor service. The food I ordered through Doordash was delicious about four months ago. However, I have been experiencing issues trying to order from them recently. They always show as closed, and when they claim to be opening on Thursday at 2pm, they are still closed. I have decided to no longer consider them as a favorite and will be getting my oxtails from somewhere else. I am rating them three stars for the good memories of their food, but I cannot give a higher rating when I am unable to actually get the food.

I had them on DoorDash. Once I had the opportunity to have oxtails with rice/gravy plus mac and cheese and another side I do not remember. That was a excellent 5 star meal wow . After that I tried to order again and my order kept getting canceled. I will try again.
