The prices were decent for this food hall, but I was underwhelmed by the food. The pastelillo has a fantastic flaky crust that wasn't too messy, and the vegan chicken was decent. However, the filling was mostly air. The relleno was perfectly crispy on the outside and had creamy dough below that. I just had the most amazing meal at Casa Borinquena, and I can't wait to share my experience! The potato balls were seriously tasty, especially with that sauce they came with. And let's talk about the chicken skewer – it was packed with flavor and cooked just right. Oh, and the empanadas? They were nothing short of heavenly.
