We've had Amici pizza delivered several times and really enjoy it. You can specify how well-done the crust is, and of course, they have many different kinds of toppings to choose from. (We like the margherita) Just wish they had a real restaurant in the East Bay! View all feedback.
What Aleck R doesn't like about Amici's East Coast Pizzeria At Cloudkitchens Oakland Alameda:
The bbq chicken pizza is legitimately disgusting. Idk who told them to make it like that at this location, but they literally just dump an entire bottle of bbq sauce on it. Can't taste anything else, so gross. Like their pizza otherwise but that may have been the worst pizza I've had in my entire life View all feedback.
If I could give no stars I would. The girl at the front is super rude. She has a huge attitude and doesn't even greet people as if we owe her a favor. She would ignore everyone because she was too busy on her cellphone. I will never ever come back again. Poor customer service.
Ordered for pick up at the Cloud Commissary in Oakland, hoping to get it hot and fresh, to avoid the quality to be diminished. Ordering was easy, and the notifications all working, however..... Arrived earlier than the pickup time, checked in, was not ready yet. I was then texted order is ready a couple minutes later, BUT no one was back at the counter to help. Nobody came back to service, no one available for a good 13 minutes, even after we were told its ready by text, real frustrating. When we got the pie, it was not hot at all, just warm, like its been sitting around warm. With that said, the pie was just ok. Could it have been better hot?, I suppose. But I'm paying all this money, it better come out piping hot... it's getting compared to East End, Marley G's and Slice House, and with that, sitting at the bottom of the stack, with this poor CS, I'm probably never coming back, this time out at this outpost was just a meeeh poor pie experience.
So happy to have found Amici 's! I 'm a PIZZA LOVER can 't get my boyfriend to ever enjoy pizza from anywhere : however we stumbled upon Amici 's when looking for food on Yelp and with their variety of pasta also offered, I was able to convince him to give it a try! We ordered a Large pepperoni pizza, a large cheese ravioli with meat sauce, and a small fettuccine Alfredo. Pepperoni Pizza: AMAZINGGGGG! My boyfriend even fell in love surprise surprise) for once he said This pizza is so good, definitely ordering from here again loved the thin crust and overall flavor. Cheese Ravioli: We weren 't really fans. Probably 2/5 stars, my boyfriend didn 't like the meat sauce but I didn 't like the cheese stuffed ravioli overall. Fettuccine Alfredo: 10/5 Tasted SO good perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Super glad it also came with bread. Can 't wait to order again in the very near future! ONLY THING I 'D NOTE IS: order through door dash to save the time, the pick up process at the food hall was a bit complicated. We received a text to pick up the food from a locker which when we went to it, was empty. We then looked around not knowing where to go but we seen a line at an unattended counter probably 8 9 people waiting) so we decided to wait here after about 10 minutes someone finally came to assist and the process was quick from that point on. Food was worth the wait and complications just saving my time using delivery next time lol
Pizza was decent, salad was all over the bag because they didn 't properly close it. My biggest downer inspiring me to give this low review was the service. The sign outside advertises dozens of restaurants under one roof, there is terrible service at this place. I was ignored by three different workers while waiting at the counter. First I walk up and a guy leaves from the back who works there looking stoned as anything. After two people come in behind me a guy walks up front looks at me and then calls another guy. They then get on a computer still ignoring me. Stoned guy comes back in asks me to move so he can slide over the counter in front of me only to walk back to the back. Finally after whatever they are doing on the computer third guy comes up and says yeah man? In an irritated manner like I f up his lunch break. Not that I 'd come back anyway because this place is a nightmare to get to but Amici 's should be humiliated they do business with a place like this.
