Description

Nestled in Oak Bluffs, this cozy pub has become a beloved local spot, boasting an impressive array of food and craft beers. Diners rave about the generous lobster roll, fresh clam chowder, and delectable Korean chicken wings. The atmosphere exudes comfort, making it an ideal winter retreat. While vegan options like a veggie burger and quesadilla are available, they tend to be overshadowed by the standout offerings. Service can be hit or miss, with reports of rudeness, but staff enthusiasm shines through, enhancing the experience. Overall, this restaurant and brewery represent some of the best culinary delights in Martha’s Vineyard.

The food here was great. I first ate here almost 15 years ago, and I enjoyed the food so much. My ex went back a couple times to have their chowder and lobster roll. I remember the peanut shells on the floor, but I guess they got rid of that. I ate here with my siblings this time. We got lobster rolls, BBQ wings, beets salad and their chowder. Best chowder on the island, for sure. Not sure if they add ham or bacon to their clam chowder but the smokiness was unique. I could three bowls of this soup.

Recommended by our Bed Breakfast in Vineyard Haven. Drove over to Oak Bluffs and so glad we did. Thought parking would be a problem, but squeezed into a space. Told 20 minute wait at 19:20hrs, but not surprisingly they didn 't take my English phone no. to make an international call when table free. Happy to wander/ gawp at the nearby shops, returning 20 mins later and sat immediately. Atmosphere brilliant, excellent choice of beers. Usual American problem of calling an IPA over 5% a session beer ; any Englishman knows a Session Beer is under 4% so you can drink more than one in a session and drive home. Shame they don 't do desserts, lost sales opportunity there. Saw 7, yes Seven people squeezed into one booth just why ?
