We got in on a Friday at 5 without a reservation, but you should make one. It started filling up very fast.

I love Mat Hudson (chef/dessert maker/server/bartender) he’s great the way heparticipates the photography he has taken his artistry through the images in the store and through the food mainly the desserts.I always feel welcome there. There has been times that I have walked in without a reservation and he always took the time tofind seating for me. I love Alexis (server) I always hope to get her when I arrive her spirit is lovely and she’s superattentive My favorite items to get is shrimp and grits and any steak they have to offer but as for now the hanger steak is myfavorite this is a small plate place except the food it Pops with flavors out of this world the menu is simple The food uniquethe people wonderful every single time I hope this stays open for a hundred years

Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted by one of the owners of the establishment named Matt (who also happens to make the delectable desserts here). Weimmediately felt welcome, and at ease by the laid back elegance and warmth of the place. The Cuisine and cocktails at thisestablishment were excellent. This is one of the best meals we have had recently in our travels. The service was friendly, andattentive. We had a meal that was soup to nuts, and every bite of it was fantastic. This place is priced on the higher side, butvery much reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you receive. We both had beef for our entree—I had the hanger steak,while my Boyfriend had the Wagu beef. The hanger steak was the better entree (both were delicious, but the hanger steak was moretender). The desserts are to die for—the Crack Pie is an absolute MUST!! We left this place feeling completely content, inboth our bellies and our mindset. It was an absolute pleasure to have dined here, we will most certainly be returning to HudsonHouse on a regular basis.
