However it seems to be no matter what time I come in, every so often they just stop doing fish and chips and take it off the menu. Surely if the demand is high you will stock up more instead of just outright removing it from the menu. Edit In retrospect I was hungry and had a long bank holiday weekend myself. I work 12 hour days in hospitality and have worked in restaurants so I should be more understanding. However like I said we come in every week as Sunday Mondays are our only days off. The pint of guiness that day was poured straight and not left to settle and that’s happened a few times. I get not every one will be perfect but when I get a taxi all the way there for some dinner and I pint and get let down you can probably understand some frustration. I have amended my review of service as usually the manager is on point with service and I’ve had one girl pour a shamrock on my guiness. I never write reviews but thanks for taking the time to respond to mine and I look forward to the elusive fish and chips next Monday!

They took such good c... read more I've been here with people and always enjoyed visiting. Today, I was out with our dog and had forgotten to bring water so we stopped here. They took such good care of us, getting water for Marley and giving him a treat. I enjoyed my glass of Lilleys (would have been rude not to buy a drink . We'll definitely be back.
