I love this place! It truly is a local gem, I sometimes come here for a breakfast cob which is the best I think I've ever had, and a reasonable price too! However they also do excellent pies, cheeses, sweets amongst many other things. We had the hot afternoon tea which was delicious no sandwiches thankfully but chunky chips with fish gouging, tasty cheesey quiche and of course delicious cakes and scones. The only downside was the decaf coffee which was tasteless and luke warm. I have visited other times and cakes always good but not so the coffee which they charge 50p extra for decaf which I have never been asked to pay in any other cafe View all feedback.
Fantastic food great staff lively place for a nice treat
Was my first time at Basilia and WOW!!! Everything is wonderful! The tea, the food, the service, the ambiance.... its just beautiful and delicious and all the good yummy vibes. You have to check them out! Can't wait to go back!!!
Called in for abit of breakfast, had the full English and it was blooming lovely. Two quality sausages, two rashers of thick cut back bacon, traditional black pudding, two hash browns, fried egg to perfection, mushrooms, beans and toast. Oh with proper local butter. Oh and oatcake as well! Must be a Stokie! TheyThave special theme nights, Greek, Italian etc. Good Deli as well
