we had arrived here a few times for a drink before eating and the staff was all very friendly and helpful. we could finally fit into a meal and it was absolutely fantastic! the longustine was more fantastic for the amount of food they got. the gluten-free fish and chips were also excellent and beautiful to have the opportunity available. an earlier evening we had only one cheese, as we had eaten elsewhere, the cheese... Chowder mainly tasted of cream with lots of carrot and celery, thank goodness only ordered a small bowl as could not have finished a larger one as bit sickening after a few spoonfuls. Vegetable soup was overly watered down and very bland, left half of it. Both served with cheap white bread. At these prices would expect homemade or artisan sourdough which would have really complimented the dish. Both dishes not season... View all feedback.
