Absolutely superb fish and chips. Had cod and chips and haddock and chips. The batter was light thin and supremely crisp. Both fillets were of a generous size. Chips were just as i like them as they had been sitting for a minute or so before served. Delicious. Also a sausage in batter was very good. Price point was good and service was pretty quick. This year, we decided to try different takeout options instead of traveling around the continent. Our experience at this restaurant was very good, though not quite exceptional. The staff was very friendly and the option to have both haddock and cod was a great plus. We prefer haddock and usually have a hard time finding it in England, so we were happy to see it on the menu. The portion of tasty fish was moderate for the price, with slightly soggy batter that might be a regional preference. The generous serving of delicious chips was a nice touch. If the portion of fish had been a bit bigger, we would have rated it 5 stars.

A traditional fish and chip shop with great value meals. However, I have been twice and am still to try the fishcake. Being British I don't complain and ate what I was given. Last time I had the sausage and this time the chicken nuggets. Both were very good but still no fish cake. Highly recommended but let me know what the fishcakes taste like please.

I truly believe that this was the best fish and chips I have ever tasted! My partner and I enjoy trying fish and chips at different places, and this has definitely been my favorite so far. The atmosphere at the restaurant was peaceful compared to others, and I appreciated that they allowed dogs. The fish was perfectly flaky and crispy, and the chips were also delicious. I tried the curry sauce and it was definitely worth it! I am looking forward to returning to this restaurant.

We had a really good fish and chip lunch here today. Excellent service, spotlessly clean, great food. The staff here should be commended for their work. After tables were cleared they disinfected both tables and every chair. Clean table cloths put in place before more customers were allowed to sit. Covid19 precautions were second to none. Good value and friendly.
