Dreamland Bar-B-Que - Northport

I ordered a starter and a wrap. It took a long time to come out, and when they came out at the same time, the starter was wrong. I also received no cutlery to eat my side with. Wrong starter was taken away to be fixed. Sat there another 45 minutes, and never got it, a refill for my drink, or cutlery for my side. What I did get was good, and I recognize it was busy. Still... do better

I would never recommend wasting your time at this restaurant. Hostess was super rude and would not acknowledge customers coming in the door. Took 40 minutes to be seated which is fine when a place is busy so that is understandable. But once we were seated it took 15 minutes to order drinks. Then another 10 to even get our drinks. Who knows how long it took to even place our food order. And then from there we had been there for an hour and a half before receiving our food. Server was not nice and had no knowledge of the menu or cared to help. She avoided our table along with all her other tables. Once we finally received our food half the order was missing. After multiple attempts to get someone's attention to see if we could get the other half of our meal the server said it was going to be a while. The cherry on top of this amazing service was when we asked for the bill she said it was going to be a while while her manager was busy. We ended up going to the bar and ordering banana pudding to much surprise we received it instantly while at the table we were told it would be a long wait. Horrible service, horrible management and the food was not worth it.

Very disappointed!! Had heard good things, however, ribs were dry, coleslaw had no flavor or seasoning, atmosphere was dingy and service was lacking. Took 15 minutes to just get drinks. Food didn't come out at same time for all in our party. Didn't get pulled pork sandwich we ordered. After ordering, waitress returned as they were out of food items. Definitely won't be back. This place has left its once great reputation behind. If you have 3 hours to sit there, you will enjoy the wait. If you are not hungry when you get there, you will be before your food comes. Good management is not a high point. It was a football weekend, however. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This is the best BBQ restaurant in Birmingham or Tuscaloosa. Ribs are great, which if you don't want on the bone, you can get it on a sandwich in Birmingham.
