What Johan Kris likes about Il Melograno:
Il Melograno was a major food destination when it opened, but it's on a very competitive strip and may not have the edge it had a year or so ago. Lunch was the Sicilian baked eggs, which was a fairly ordinary beef ragu cooked in lots of red wine and two poached eggs bobbing about in it. Quite nice sauce, although the eggs were slightly undercooked. It was served with two slices of sourdough, lightly toasted and cold.... View all feedback. What Annabell Kemmer doesn't like about Il Melograno:
Lovely industrial open space interior. Nice background music. A nice place with a great menu selection. They roast their own coffee on site with a viewing section. Coffee is very nice. Service was a bit ordinary. We waited a while for our meal and when we followed it up with the waiter and his reply was "we are busy". With the cafe being ¾ full I would hate to see what service would be like with a full house. Overall... View all feedback.

Very cool set up of bar/counter area. To die for gelati selection. Their coffee gelati just did it for me. Friendly staff. Reasonable wine price.
