Sanitation wasn?t where is should be. Wearing gloves is great depending on how many surfaces you touch with gloves on. Gloves should be changed way more often than they are. The counters should also be cleaned up more often. The lady making our smoothieswas on it. But the lady at the register seemed overwhelmed and like that level of multi tasking was too much to ask of her. Morestaff would help thing run smoother.
The restaurant’s cleanliness fell short of expectations. Although wearing gloves is a good practice, they should be changed more often, particularly after handling different surfaces. The counters also needed more frequent cleaning. On a positive note, the woman preparing our smoothies was efficient and attentive. However, the cashier seemed overwhelmed and struggled to handle multiple tasks. Adding more staff would likely enhance the service and overall efficiency.
I experienced several problems at Red Mango even before placing my order. I tried to order two banana peanut butter protein shakes, but they said they were out of protein. We then chose the regular banana peanut butter shake with chocolate. However, the smoothies we received had no chocolate in them. When we told the employee, their response was simply, "I'm sorry, I forgot," with no further apology or solution. Although I’ve been to Red Mango before, this will definitely be my last visit. We also ordered the almond pretzels for $7.99, but they were stale and hard—so old it was unclear how long they’d been on the shelf. Despite paying, we couldn’t even bite into them. At checkout, their system was down, and we had to wait even longer while it rebooted. Overall, we spent $23.07 on two small shakes and pretzel bites, making it a very disappointing experience.
