My third... read more Always a great place to go when I am visiting in Northampton. Great atmosphere, great service, set in an oldy world setting, lovely fresh cooked food . My third visit we stayed for 2 hours. Its lovely in summer as you can sit outside in the garden. Waitress said they are going to redo it into a 1940s style but I like it as it is.

I expected it to be elegant and upscale, but it turned out to be a very ordinary cafe with average food at reasonable prices. However, what sets this place apart is the beautiful garden. Sitting there, you would never guess you were in the bustling town center. It's peaceful, secluded, and a great spot to catch some sun. I highly recommend visiting on a nice sunny day, so much so that I returned a few days later with my family.

Service excellent and friendly food good maybe a touch hotter for sausage sandwich) . Great meet up place or I can see lovely in summer on your own with book. Definitely would go again. Lovely old fashioned China cups etc
