What User likes about The Kings Head:
We ate in one of the cabins outside, which was cosy with its own heater. Friendly service. Nothing very exciting on the menu, but what we had was fine I chose the special, sweet chilli salmon with new potatoes and salad and hubby had scampi and chips. Right on the Coventry canal, so we enjoyed a wander after our meal. View all feedback. What F5684RGjackr doesn't like about The Kings Head:
Looks like the pub may have closed down. Two signs outside say Monday opening is 3pm-8pm, but the place is closed. Tried to phone but no answer. Shame, as I've visited before and thought it was a good pub. View all feedback.

read moreNestled alongside the Coventry Canal, this pub offers a unique blend of charm and culinary experiences, though opinions vary significantly. Diners have enjoyed cosy outdoor cabins with heaters, friendly service, and a picturesque setting. Many praised the delicious meals, particularly the triple T burger and decadent desserts, complemented by a lively atmosphere. However, some patrons lamented the inconsistent service, underwhelming food quality, and dreary decor at times. While some found it a hidden gem worth revisiting, others suggested seeking alternatives for better value and experience. Overall, this pub has the potential to charm but may need to address several operational shortcomings.
