V- nam’s food are flavorful and filling. My favorite is grilled pork sub. The bread is really good!I ordered the mango basil roll at the time, it was okay (mango was sour for me)Not pictured here is their beef brisket soup. Meat is tender, broth is tasty.Only downside is that service can be slow since they are short-staffed, but the owner is nice and the food is good so it’s worth a visit, and worth coming back to. What Sorin doesn't like about V-Nam Restaurant:
Food was good, but the service was a bit mid, waited for our server to seat us for a bit too long when it wasn't busy, didn't come check on us, and when we asked for a box for our leftovers, she gave us a used box with food still in it, it could've been rinsed out or something but it's still a little bit disconcerting.Go for the food but don't expect fantastic service. After driving past this restaurant for years, I decided to try it for a take-out dinner. A major disappointment. Pork brochette could have been called, Meat on a skewer, complete with fat and gristle. Yam Tempura, which should have been light and crispy, was soggy and limp. Shrimp Pad Thai held overcooked and cold crustaceans, a few vegetables and lots of noodles with too much fish sauce applied.
Best Vietnamese hands down on North Shore. Authentic and friendly staff. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and a large free parking lot in the back accessed by the alley. Most other Vietnamese restaurants have no parking and not much seating so this is a great place to go. Even when they’re busy as they often are, they still have room to accommodate more customers.
We decided to have our lunch at V-Nam Vietnamese Restaurant, and this is so right, we just loved spring rolls so much for this dish, my seafood #52 is so tasty and #54 is spicy and so yummy ?, but I'll make sure they will cook the noodle a bit more next time, other than that, it's all good ?Thank you!

Wow. This place has really gone downhill. NEVER GOING BACK again. I usually give restaurants a chance (3 strikes) but they have just kept failing me even though i 've wanted things to turn around. The last visit was the experience that has totally made me decide this place is deceitful and not worth my support any longer. I called in to order a pick up order. They said it would take 20 min. I even took my time and didn 't arrive for 30 minutes. When i got there they looked puzzled and asked me if i had ordered over the phone. I said yes... 30 minutes ago . The lady went to the back and returned shortly. She proceeded to punch my order in and took my payment. There was no mention that the order still had to be made. She just took my money making me assume that it was almost out. After 25 minutes, my food finally came out. WHAT A COMPLETE JOKE. The is the worst service ever. I know mistakes happen so i 'm cool if an order is missed over the phone. However, don 't make me assume that my order is running behind and just about to come out when the cook hasn 't even got the order to start making it. Only go there if you want bad service.
