Great menu, great food, great service and plenty of beer on tap! We had lunch here with friends and enjoyed our time together. Your menu has many options, even for vegetarians or vegans. (Many things on the menu can be made vegetarian or vegan on request) Gluten free options are also available, and prices are reasonable View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Northern Union Gastro Pub:
Nice atmosphere but some of the food needs work. A lot of work. I do realise the pizzas are good though. Its an open kitchen so you can see everything. The chef was eating with one hand and preparing food with another. The Nachos were absolutely terrible. We went up to a favourite of our with our friends out side of Auckland. Very disappointed with meals, one of which came out out wrong. Burger bun was stale, burger patty over cooked. Steak not cooked to what was requested. Very disappointed as always recommended this place. The staff were packing up inside/outside while 4 tables were still eating food. Not sure I will go back
We ordered kids ham and cheese pizza, the Philly cheese steak roll and the chicken burger for takeaway. When went to pick up the kids meal it didn't have a drink or the Sundae that it should come with so told them and they gave us the drink and sundae. The Philly cheese was not very nice, didn't even finish it. The chips with the burgers were horrible no seasoning on them and just wasn't nice in general. The quality has gone down hill. Not likely going to go back there.

Everything was so great with the exception that the music was so loud I couldn't hear my party talking unless we all yelled. So was everyone else in the pub, so it made it that much more difficult to hear. Price per person: NZ$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
