The Beer Spot - Kumeu

This is our wonderful local spot. The owners and staff are fantastic, providing tastings and great recommendations. The venue is comfortable, warm, and inviting. Be sure to check which food truck will be serving meals, as we've always found the food to be delicious!

The interior of the restaurant is spacious, offering plenty of seating options. However, it might be a bit challenging for larger groups since the tables aren't particularly big. That said, we managed to fit around 12 people at one table. There's a tap system on the wall displaying the current drink options. Be sure to note either the name or number when placing your order. When you're ready, just head over to the counter to make your selection. They also offer a variety of wines and non-alcoholic beverages. The food truck, Puha and Pakeha, was serving some delicious items. After ordering, you receive a buzzer to notify you when your food is ready for pickup. The tuatua fritters were outstanding—tasty and satisfying. However, I found the kumara bites to be a bit too smoky for my taste, and the loaded fries were somewhat disappointing, as the pork tasted rather bland. Overall, it's a nice spot for drinks and a casual meal, but it is quite a distance from my home.

Have been regular visitor at their Northcote branch. Got excited when they opened in huapai closer to home. Now I don't have to worry about drinking and finding a tea tottler ; . Live you guys. My fav in Auckland.

Always a great spot to drop into to try one of the 30 odd beers they have on selection (with the monthly rotating food trucks). Highly recommend

A delightful casual craft beer bar, with around 40 beers on tap and a modest selection of great NZ wines. They have a different food truck every week at all 6 of their locations. Lovely and accommodating staff too!
