Bluebird Cafe - North Liberty

Dinner visit: no waiting time to sit. visit the breakfast: no waiting time to sit. this place was recommended by my friend as I visited for a chuteurnier near coralville. the place had a nice design, the eating was good, the waitress (the same person both paints) was simply the best waiting staff I ever had. on Friday night, I had lured her new salmon dinner with skyberry sauce. I have the word that they will soon think about adding it to the main menu. it was divine I highly recommend it. the spargel that the ship had was right to fill this part. the chocolate cake was also good. on Saturday morning I ordered the following articles: pancakes, real maple syrup, egg, sausage. the pancakes were very good, not too hard, not too soft. in both visits the proportions were greater than expected. cait has made a fantastic job. she was thrilled, helpful to ask about, her visit seemed exactly right, hit me on the beat as a soda refilled or checked as I did with the food. If they're ever in the opposite, they're going here!

Absolutely fantastic. we are in the city for a softball tournament and were looking for a place to sit and eat between play. I ordered the cinnamon french toast with chocolate chips and cream per our waiter recommended, and it was to die. my over simple eggs were cooked exactly right. my father ordered the bluebird eier meal (egg, sausage, hathbrowns and toast), and he also liked his meal. we ordered both coffee, and he got milk and I got a pop, and the total bill came only after controlling before the tip! very reasonable, great eating and good service. we will come back when/if we are back in town!

Nice uptake on American Fare. My Chicken Breast sandwich was pretty good. The chicken itself was fantastic, juicy with fantastic flavor. The bun was a little basic, but the aoli made up for it! My partner had the corned beef hash (forgot to take a pic! She loved it thought the addition of turnips other root veggies really made it! Our server was super nice attentive!

Good brunch. Server was nice too. Omelets and Benedict was good!

I took my parents here on a visit to the Iowa City area. It took a little convincing that this wasn?t just a random diner, but an extremely good spot for all day breakfast. While the biscuits and gravy I got were good, the real star of the night was the cinnamon roll French toast. We agreed it was the #1 French toast we?ve ever had. Everything was good, coffee was tasty, and the service was great, even though it was busy. Definitely recommend!
