What User doesn't like about Cassis Bistro:
we had the specialties of the day for lunch: thunfischsandwich and tomatensuppe. doesn't sound so much. but they would be surprised how well they were added red pfeffer, for example, took dinge to another level. we're coming back! View all feedback.
We have been at cassis since jacky and rob. the title of the review says everything. we are never disappointed by the food or the attentive service. we take our visitors there and they are also very...impressed we have spent several vacations in France and cassis measures up to our culinary experiences there. 10 of 10 each time. I notice that one of the following is asking about high chairs. this is not a place where I want to take a little child. it is a quiet, refined place, but no place that makes it unpleasant

Last night we visited cassis bistro in lakefield for the first time. I'm pretty sure it won't be the last. the occasion was a celebration of the 85th birthday of my man. we were a family group of 7, in the age of 18-85. we were. plentifully greeted and accompanied to a table that gave us a little private sphere for the most evening. we tend to be a funny bundle and sometimes a little sister. we didn't want to get into other diners. rob, our server and co-owner, imagined when he presented the menus and explained the specials. he was attentive at night, but not intrusive. we loved his friendliness and senses for humor. our orders ranged from salads to suppe to escargot for appetizers. from steak to scallops to huh to lasagne for the main course. all meal times were beautiful and well presented between appies and netzen. everyone in our party enjoyed eating and most of us had space for dessert. as the guess of the venerable came the cream Brûlée of my mannes on a teller that was drowned “Happy 85th” in chocolate syrup. it was a special evening spent with family, good eating and good wine and wonderful service. thanks rob and cassis bistro. we hope to be back for a date night.
My man and I have cried on 9 september for the first time in cassis bistro and will definitely be back. we sat on the terrace and were warmly welcomed by the owners. we enjoyed our appetizers of mushrooms filled with seafood and cheese, and crostini with warmed goat cheese and tomatenbruschetta. for entrees we had coquille st. jacques with basmati rice and seasonal vegetables and superior the hunch with kartoffel and seasonal vegetables. for dessert we shared the Dutch chocolate cake with basilika buttercream along with two cappuccinos. everything was delicious! I look forward to a return visit. if they plan here, I would recommend bookings in advance as there are limited seating opportunities.
We went with another couple for the “Thursday Date Night” on the patio. The service was excellent and selection of food great.
