We are from Indiana and thought we knew BBQ. Surprise!!!! We had no clue until we stopped here!!! Smoked Meatloaf was a real treat!!!! Ordered a side of it and the Big Gun Platter. Wow what a great amount of food!!! Guy Fieri stopped here and we know why. Righteous BBQ!!! Awards all over the place and well deserved. Good thing they are not in our backyard, or I would be there every day!!!! View all feedback.
What Andy Rose doesn't like about Smokin' Guns Bbq Rubs And Sauces:
We wanted to experience KC BBQ while we were in town. I was definitely expecting more. We ended up throwing most of the food away. The meat wasn't even warm. The ribs were good, but far from perfect. The sides were basic. The inside atmosphere was about what you would expect from a place called Smokin' Guns, looking like the inside of a barn. There is much better BBQ elsewhere. You can miss me with this place again. View all feedback.
My husband and I were excited to try Smokin' Guns because we saw it featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. The food was good, but nothing stood out from other BBQ places. The service was great.
Ribs were great. Briscket was dry, no fat was the culprit. The seasoning in the Italian sausage over powers the smoke flavor. The deviled eggs are phenomenal. Like the big fries. Service was
Going to miss y'all.Loved making my little smokey sliders. Brisket, turkey, fried green beans for crunch, your roll sauce made the perfect end to a 2 meat combo.Best of luck to everyone there after the close tomorrow. Glad I randomly stopped in today! Tried the 3 meat today, and although delicious, Simecas sausage is too powerful a flavor for any amount of smoke to change.
Excellent service and the food was great! I go here at least once a month.
What a disappointment, Ì was looking forward to some award winning Brisket, so I had to stop here on my way through KC. Unfortunately what I was served was the worst Brisket I have ever had, it was extremely dry, I mean no moisture whatsoever, like it was several days old, and little to no flavor. On a positive note, it was the most expensive pound of Brisket I've ever bought too, I have eaten at several KC BBQ joints in the past, this place is on the very bottom of the list.
