We ordered a mix entree, salt and pepper squid, pad see ew, cashew nut chicken, Thai fried rice, and lamb shank Massaman. Thank you!!! I would recommend this place and will definitely be returning to try other items on the menu.

The staff could not have been more helpfu... read more I went to Ta One Thai last Friday night, as part of a group of four people, for a birthday dinner. I was SO impressed. The staff could not have been more helpful, friendly, efficient and kind. The manager was so thoughtful and had even put up some birthday decorations above the table. We ate leisurely over two hours and just sat chatting afterwards. At no point did we feel pressured to leave. On the contrary, the staff made us feel so welcome, comfortable and appreciated such a refreshing change! We ordered curry puffs and salt and pepper calamari for the entree and both dishes were very tasty. For the main meal we had Thai beef salad, Penang curry, Pad Thai and Lamb shank Massaman. For most of our group, the Thai beef salad was the standout dish. The flavour was superb! The other three dishes were also delicious. There was plenty of chicken in the Penang curry, and the lamb shank was very tender. My only minor disappointment was the presentation of the Pad Thai. I guess I was expecting it to have some fresh bean sprouts sprinkled on top and a few other pieces of garnish but it was really just a pile of noodles with everything cooked and mixed up in it. However... the flavour was great and for me, taste is way more important than appearance, so I would definitely order it again. Also, I would have liked the Massaman sauce to be a bit thicker and creamier than it was, but again, the flavour was great. To our great surprise, the management brought out a complimentary fried ice cream dessert with a candle in it for the birthday girl and also ice cream for the other guests. It was SUCH a kind, thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. Thank you very much to the fantastic staff! We shall definitely be back!

My uncle... read more Last night, Thursday 25th March 2021, my husband, daughter and I took my 96 year old uncle and his almost 80 year old partner to dinner at Ta One Thai. My uncle who many years ago lived in Bangkok was thrilled to speak Thai to the staff. The staff were gracious, kind and friendly at all times. The food was delicious and the chefs catered perfectly to vegan needs and food allergy issues. What a wonderful restaurant with the loveliest people. Thank you Ta One Thai, we will return!
