It had been a long and tiring day for both of us, and we hadn't made a reservation.... read more Last night, my spouse and I decided to dine out for our wedding anniversary. It had been a long and tiring day for both of us, and we hadn't made a reservation. Luckily, the staff accommodated us and we had a fantastic time. The food was incredibly delicious and we had a lovely conversation with Luigi, who is the heart and soul of the restaurant. We ended up eating more than we usually would, but we cannot wait to go back. Next time, we'll have to share just one dessert.

I see he greatly enjoys announcing the specials to each table. He is a truly passionate owner who takes great pride in his...restaurant and staff. The other wait staff are also very friendly and professional. Service is consistently very quick and the food is absolutely amazing from appetisers to desserts. I recommend dining on an empty stomach so you get to try every course!

The food is authentic Italian and is great for romantic dinners but also for big parties of friends. We go here at least once a month. Not the cheapest plrices but so...good, the value is there. They also own the bottle shop next door and if you buy hour wine there, corkage is free. The wine prices are quite reasonable

We were pleasantly surprised by the fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff was helpful and accommodating, offering us a variety of specials to choose from and even allowing us to customize our order to suit our preferences. The zucchini flowers, barramundi, and veal were all delicious, and our daughter enjoyed her kids' pasta. As a special treat, we were gifted desserts for our anniversary. Despite having dined at many great Italian restaurants, we were truly impressed by the quality of the food and service from Il Posto. We can't wait to dine in person once lockdown restrictions are lifted. Thank you, Il Posto, for making our anniversary dinner unforgettable.
