I went here when my normal cafè was shut for Christmas as we was still at work and I have to say I was pleasantly suprised, so much that I brought some of my work friends with me the next day, the service is prompt...and seemed fresh, the quality of the normal everyday chit chat was lovely to hear and them to be joking around with us as if we was regulars! I then bought a piece of flapjack like I usually have at the... View all feedback.
What Faye Bell doesn't like about Dronfield Delicatessen:
I was really looking forward to a pre holiday sausage and bacon butty, when I got this home the bread was all soggy and tough and tasted like it had been warmed up in the microwave. Completely ruined the sandwich and I won't be back View all feedback.
Our daughter organized an afternoon tea for our family from 100 miles away to celebrate my 70th birthday. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we could pick up the teas even though we were on the M1 motorway. There was an abundance of food and everything was incredibly tasty. The delicious spread relieved my daughter of any stress and allowed everyone to enjoy themselves. Thank you!
My niece, mother-in-law, and friend have all praised this restaurant, and I have personally tried their sandwiches in the past, which were excellent. Recently, my niece mentioned that they also offer big rolls. It's a fantastic spot to pick up delicious food for a picnic.
I haven't been to this restaurant since we moved from the area, but I was incredibly impressed by the entire experience! There was a wide range of options, with delicious homemade cakes and tasty sandwiches, and the service was excellent. You can either place your order at the door (if they are not wearing masks) or inside, and then they will bring it out to you (even to your car). I ordered 3 sandwiches (one of them was hot) and 3 cakes, and they were ready before I even had a chance to tell my partner. The cake selection was especially delicious! I will definitely be returning in the future.
Here you get excellent food for picnics in the peak district. try their truthahnsalat or eier mayonnaise sandwiches. they are properly filled with quality products and are joined by two beautiful cheerful girls. it is simply tariff, but it is excellent quality. taste their...flapjacks- ask for their corners and get them nice eating, well packed, delivered quickly and complete with two beautiful smiles of two very helpful and charming young ladies. I'll go back there. then I go to shilito woods in the peak district to share your picnic with the birds feeding on the bird feeders. in all a very beautiful experience- I can do this a regular thing if I can save the time.
Ordered a large sandwich but got less than fresh bread with a smear of filling and a small amount of salad. To add insult to injury... I was overcharged. I will not be going back again... total rubbish.
