The owners took excellent care of us, and we enjoyed... read more During our October holiday, a group of 8 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs visited this restaurant multiple times. The owners took excellent care of us, and we enjoyed the lively atmosphere with locals singing at open mic night and the Halloween disco/quiz. This establishment truly embodies a traditional pub vibe with delicious pub food.

This establishment has a strong pub atmosphere, featuring weekly karaoke and steak nights. It seems to cater mainly to local customers. After our visit, we opted not to dine there. The traditional pub feel was welcoming enough, but the venue is on the smaller side and could use a thorough cleaning and some tidying up.

The pub... read more I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. My family had been following their Facebook page for a while, so we decided to give it a try. The pub may be fine for local drinkers, but if you're looking for a nice meal, I wouldn't recommend it. The pub is run-down and in need of some updates. The furniture is old and worn out. Our dining table was set with 2 dining chairs and 2 armchairs, one of which was so saggy that my daughter couldn't even reach the table when she sat on it. The food was mediocre, similar to what you might expect from a chain restaurant like Hungry Horse or Wetherspoons. Overall, we were very disappointed. Fortunately, we didn't have to pay full price as it was two for one Tuesday. It's a shame that the restaurant isn't better, as we would love to have a decent local eatery.

No pub will answer the phone before 12 mid day.So...when the door opens we were welcomed and warmed. Good pub grub (like the steak baguette). Its a good solid little pub. Happy to recommend.

The most expensive place in Braunton for drinks and the dirtiest place in Braunton. Dog poo in the garden. Toilets were absolutely disgusting in the men’s and women’s. Lady in the bar was friendly but the pub needs to up their game.
