We discovered this hidden gem during our visit to Ilfracombe. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. This place offers both takeaway options and a cozy cafe atmosphere, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from that cater to all dietary needs. They were able to easily accommodate our Nut and Dairy allergies, and we especially enjoyed the delicious cakes, particularly the cream tea that my husband ordered. The prices were very reasonable, and the staff was welcoming, efficient, and friendly. The cafe is wheelchair accessible, however, the toilets may not be suitable for those who cannot manage stairs. Despite this minor inconvenience, our experience at Swiss Cottage Cafe was very enjoyable and we highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
This cafe is excellent. It's charming and the service is wonderful. I had a lovely breakfast and delicious Victoria Sponge cake the next day. If I lived nearby, I would definitely be a regular customer.
This cafe is absolutely charming and the food and staff are both fantastic. The decor is stunning and there is a wide variety of options on the menu. They even kindly charged my phone for me! Definitely worth a visit.
We came here for breakfast last week. Its away from the harbour but near a good car park. We recommend their breakfast. Freshly cooked and good value for money. Great service and good atmosphere.
The staff are so friendly in this cafe nothing was to much trouble for them. the big breakfast was hot and well cooked with plenty of choice. I really enjoyed but my hubby was not keen on the filter coffee (though he is a coffee snob) i thought it was a reasonable price for 2 big breakfasts and it kept us full for most of the day
