Pop in here quite frequently for a meal, can guarantee you know what you 're getting at a spoons but don 't expect luke warm food served at break neck speed WH... read more Pop in here quite frequently for a meal, can guarantee you know what you 're getting at a spoons but don 't expect luke warm food served at break neck speed WHY ???I 'm more then happy to wait and it 's slightly annoying when one male member of staff appears to have to do everything at a trot as he shot passed our table saying everything OK guys and jogged on, why ask you didn 't even stop for our reply and chances are you 're going to cause an accident at that speed by knocking someone over, I personally do not want to be served by someone in such a blind rush. Nothing will change but just be warned you could be mowed down by a staff member delivering your meal to your table before you have a chance to leave the bar after ordering.

It was nearly empty during our last visit at lunchtime, and we were disappointed to find the place was dirty, with food scattered on the floor. The chef looked unkempt and the food had deteriorated in taste, with the chicken being overly microwaved and dried out. The garnish appeared to be from the trash, and the person behind the bar had untidy hair and wore glasses, lacking in hygiene and seemed more focused on their appearance than attending to customers. There was a lack of customer service skills, especially if you were not a man. We do not plan on returning anytime soon.

Seemed to be a lack of charging points, lik... read more After cycling the Tarka Trail from Meeth, this stop off was much need for a couple of refreshing pints to cool down. Seemed to be a lack of charging points, like most Wetherspoons have, but found a table near the bar and all was good. Was quite busy when I arrived and I heard a waitress say there was a 30 minute wait for food.
