It's recommended to book ahead as it's quite popular, but the bonus is that they serve until 4pm, allowing for a late lunch. The fresh vegetables are plentiful and the meat is cooked perfectly. I always pre-order the vegetarian option, which has included nut roasts or a delicious vegetable wellington made by Chef Adam. The veggie gravy is a hit with me every time. Overall, I can't fault this place and will definitely be returning. Kudos to Team Fox for running such a great family-friendly pub.

The vegetables were not overcooked or dried out. Despite being busy, the service was excellent. We will definitely return.

Good selection of food, nice crackling on pork and everything hot, including the plates. Honeycomb cheesecake was delicious

Well it certainly lived up to it... read more We visited here on Sun, after reserving a table, as a family of nine to experience the carvery that we had heard so much about. Well it certainly lived up to its reputation. The food was really well presented with a choice of 3 meats and a huge selection of vegetables all well cooked and nice and hot. Well done everyone concerned, I would highly recommend and will not hesitate to return again. Thank you
