We walked in to ask about dinner and were informed that they were fully booked, suggesting we make... read more The host at this restaurant was inhospitable and unwelcoming. We walked in to ask about dinner and were informed that they were fully booked, suggesting we make a reservation for the next night. When we asked for a drink, we were not allowed into the bar. It was a very unusual and unwelcoming experience.

We were camping nearby and decided to stop in for drinks. They had a great selection of cider and cask ales. The pub also had options for the kids like J2O and... read more We were camping nearby and decided to stop in for drinks. They had a great selection of cider and cask ales. The pub also had options for the kids like J2O and Pepsi. I tried the Peachy Blinder cocktail and loved it. We only ate there once, but the food was excellent. I especially enjoyed my steak and the prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a nice local pub that we enjoyed visiting. Thank you for taking care of us.

The room was... read more Such a Beautiful hotel in an equally Beautiful Location. Everything was just perfect Kev and Jan where so Hospitable from the moment we walked in. The room was exquisitely laid out, Towels Complementary soaps , Tea , Coffee and Hot chocolate with ample milk and Sugar available. The bed was Comfy and the shower was wonderful. The whole atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed and quiet which was exactly what we needed. Breakfast in the morning was first class fresh eggs we where lucky to get double yolks , sausage and bacon ,mushrooms where delicious. Had a great chat with Kevin and Jan as well.. Just want to thank both of you for the wonderful time worth every penny. Thank You. Emma Andy
