What Stainerm dislikes about Beggars Roost Inn:
The host at this restaurant was inhospitable and unwelcoming. We walked in to ask about dinner and were informed that they were fully booked, suggesting we make a reservation for the next night. When we asked for a drink, we were not allowed into the bar. It was a very unusual and unwelcoming experience. View all feedback.
The food is freshly prepared and served in generous portions. The pub offers a wide variety of ales and ciders on tap. The staff are also very friendly. I would love for this place to be my regular local pub!

We were camping nearby and decided to stop in for drinks. They had a great selection of cider and cask ales. The pub also had options for the kids like J2O and Pepsi. I tried the Peachy Blinder cocktail and loved it. We only ate there once, but the food was excellent. I especially enjoyed my steak and the prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a nice local pub that we enjoyed visiting. Thank you for taking care of us.
1 night stay, could have stayed longer. Owners were great, nothing too much trouble, food excellent, rooms and ensuite clean smart plenty of towels and shower gel etc. Tea coffee on hand in room. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

The room was exquisitely laid out, Towels Complementary soaps , Tea , Coffee and Hot chocolate with ample milk and Sugar available. The bed was Comfy and the shower was wonderful. The whole atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed and quiet which was exactly what we needed. Breakfast in the morning was first class fresh eggs we where lucky to get double yolks , sausage and bacon ,mushrooms where delicious. Had a great chat with Kevin and Jan as well.. Just want to thank both of you for the wonderful time worth every penny. Thank You. Emma Andy
