What Stainerm dislikes about Beggars Roost Inn:
The host at this restaurant was inhospitable and unwelcoming. We walked in to ask about dinner and were informed that they were fully booked, suggesting we make a reservation for the next night. When we asked for a drink, we were not allowed into the bar. It was a very unusual and unwelcoming experience. View all feedback.
The food is freshly prepared and served in generous portions. The pub offers a wide variety of ales and ciders on tap. The staff are also very friendly. I would love for this place to be my regular local pub!

We were camping nearby and decided to stop in for drinks. They had a great selection of cider and cask ales. The pub also had options for the kids like J2O and Pepsi. I tried the Peachy Blinder cocktail and loved it. We only ate there once, but the food was excellent. I especially enjoyed my steak and the prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a nice local pub that we enjoyed visiting. Thank you for taking care of us.
What a wonderful place, great log fire burner too! Service was great even though the wife wasn't working that night, both husband wife attended to us with efficiency, very attentive, food was delicious well presented! What more can I say... Other than, would thoroughly recommend.
Proper old English pub bar with well kept ales. Food not available until later in the day, but a good place for r&r
