Hilltop House - North Bend

I wanted to come here a long time and we decided to celebrate the Independence Day! Great place for a nice date! We brought our family five and three years. The place is surrounded by a beautiful garden, lots of green, great views of the bay. Servers were nice. Great artichoke and crab diving, deep fried seafood sampler was good, Calamari is long Calamari steak-like strips, clam chowder is great with bacon in it, steak was beautiful and juicy and full taste and the homemade bread served with an oil vinegar is delicious! Seafood sampler comes only deep roasted. We ordered too much fried food. Next time we have to order something baked or baked. This is not a place where we can often afford. Special steak and deep fried shrimp were $30. We spent almost $100.

I took my gf here and we ordered the shrimp cocktail, steak, chicken Alfredo, and chocolate cake. I got my steak medium rare and it was delicious. My gf loved her chicken Alfredo and we both enjoyed the chocolate cake. Now the potatoes were my favorite, creamy savoury perfection. Where as my least favorite dish served were the vegetables. They did not taste fresh whatsoever more straight out of the freezer into the microwave. Also I was not impressed with the cocktail I felt the shrimp were bland. Our waitresses we're efficient and courteous. I feel for the price they could do better but overall it was a good experience.

This place is one of my favorites on the coast. Good drinks, the food is delicious and Julie the server always takes the best care of us. We recently lost a dear friend who loved this place and went there for a memorial meal in her honor. They made our night a memorable one. I would recommend this place as a do not miss to anyone visiting the area.

Placed was packed for Father's Day and I didn't have a reservation, but they got me in. Drink order filled promptly and after the wait the meal was delicious. Recommend the Halibut Almondine and carrot cake for dessert. For the day, the service was excellent, pleasant and cheerful. Next time will make a reservation to sit in the main dining room and enjoy the wonderful view of the ocean.

Excellent experience here. Only two complaints: 1) more parking is needed, but impossible given the footprint. 2) too much really good food!
