Mom's Kitchen - North Bend

Bacon, eggs, hashbrowns. Fresh hash brown, 4 huge strips of bacon, toast and life-changing coffee! Eating better than my grandmother made me a little girl.

Big portions, excellent food, friendly people, Mom is a treat. Small restaurant dating back to the 60s. Very recommended.

Happy Birthday Mom! Stop here on a Saturday morning and take the last two empty places in their small dining area. Mama waited for us, but both waitresses were friendly and made sure our coffee cups were full. This is not a place to go when you are in a hurry, we waited for 45 minutes for our food. A man at the counter shared his newspaper, so made it for a nice cozy weekend breakfast. The food was typical for dinner. The eggs were boiled well and the cured beef was delicious, but the ash-browns were boiled under and the biscuits tasted as if they were made from a mixture. The charm of the place made it worth the visit. They welcomed some of the customers with name and the chef joked with people sitting at the counter when she worked her way through the tickets. That was Mom's birthday, too, and after our meal, she offered us cupcakes each of her birthdays. That's not my favorite breakfast in town, but I'd go back here if I have a free morning and want to see a friendly face.

Excellent breakfast. We were served by Mom herself. Huge, tasty breakfast for very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend.
