I recently dined at a fantastic restaurant that offers a delightful dinner experience. The meal was priced reasonably at around $40 to $60 per person, which felt justified given the quality of the food.
The dishes were well-prepared and bursting with flavor, earning a solid 4 out of 5 for the food. Our server was attentive and friendly, enhancing our dining experience, which is why I’d also rate the service a 4.
As for the atmosphere, the ambiance was inviting and comfortable, contributing positively to the overall experience, earning another 4 out of 5.
In summary, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit for a pleasant evening out.
What User doesn't like about South China:
I ordered a large meal and spent $97, but it was inedible because it was over-salted. I typically don’t write negative reviews, but this was excessive. I couldn’t even finish my dinner and ended up spitting it out. When I expressed my disappointment, all I received was the standard response of "we’ll do better next time," but I won’t be returning if I’m not helped today. The staff really needs to focus on improving t... View all feedback.
Worse food, I ordered a huh satay and roast rice, there was no taste in the rice at all and the huhn satay was not well cooked.
Dear manager, Do you think it is okay for a restaurant? You just put my food in a trash bucket. It is absolutely RUDE and OFFENSIVE. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–60
I didn't expect theyre going ro charge us over 30 plus dollars for 1 meal and 1 entree, and the noodle is over boiled and weird taste. Sausage is too small and hard to eat. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40
I’ve been ordering from and dining here since the 1980’s. Finally things seemed to have turned a corner. (I’m patient). Our takeaway meal tonight was so much better. I was saying “yum” after every mouthful. The mixed entree was great. I had the duck with crabmeat. Every morsel was fabulous. The fried rice needs a bit more flavour but so much better and definitely on a par with other Albury Chinese restaurants. Still not matching major city offerings but absolutely worth the money.
Special fried rice was not special, boiled rice with a few peas . Mongolian beef was brown goop. I wanted to bin it really disgusting .
