What Yasmeen Stoltenberg doesn't like about River Deck Cafe:
All breakfast venues have a big breakfast. This venue use to have a big breakfast that would rival all others. I hate to steal a line from lord of the rings. The river deck had the one big breakie to rule them all. But it is no more. Don't know what they where thinking but they removed it. You can make one up but it costs more. A bit disappointed. Please put this item back on the menu. View all feedback.
Best place for a view, can’t beat being on the deck on a beautiful day. Great food as always
I love the river deck, best setting in Albury and really good food. Never disappointed!
Lovely venue close to the Murray River. We both ordered the same meal of Tempura battered barramundi with chips and salad. We both felt the batter needed a little more time to colour up, but otherwise was tasty and delicious. We felt the choices of wine sadly lacking. We are Riesling drinkers and a two year old is too young. We did ask if we could use our own but no was the answer.
Entree Pate was possibly to fine, no texture, Beef Brisket with Salsa, delicious. Mushroom dish could've had more Fetta cheese. Staff were brilliant :
