Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant in question seems to have received mixed reviews lately. While some diners have been disappointed by the quality and taste of the food, others have had positive experiences, praising the authenticity of the Indian cuisine served. The restaurant seems to have undergone changes in management recently, which has resulted in improvements in the quality of the dishes served. Some customers have highlighted the delicious flavors and generous portions of the curries offered. Overall, it seems that while there have been some negative experiences, there is still potential for a satisfying meal at this establishment, especially for those who appreciate traditional Indian flavors.
Visited on a Sunday evening so restuarant was not busy. Greeted by a very cheerful waiter who was very helpful and polite. We were given free papadums to munch on while we looked at the menu. Ordered chicken korma, a beef madras?, tandoori chicken, prawn...jalfraze, steamed rice and garlic nans. The meals were delicious especially the korma and garlic nans. It is in the entertainment book and I would definitely give it a try. Very friendly staff and great tasting curries.
4 of us eat here regularly, approx once a month, usually on a sunday night. Only had one average night when they had a huge indian party on,so check for that if you are going on a sunday. Very good curries.Always have Beef madras. Served in balti...bowls which never look huge but always plenty. Great friendly service. Never been to their buffet, not a fan of indian bufets in general but the a la carte menu always delivers and very good value. Going back?... Of course!
I ate there a couple of times, however, even though I love spicy Indian food, my biggest concern is those buffets. I know it makes for a more affordable and cost-effective way to provide food without so much personal service, but, you just don't know...what you are getting......until a few hours later! There are so many of these types of establishments, and one can hardly imagine that they are so busy that everything on display is fresh. I wasn't sick here, and the food was ok.
We LOVE this restaurant! It has become our only Indian restaurant and a fave 'go to ' local, due to its excellent food, great value for money and warm, friendly service. We either go to the Friday/Saturday night buffet, Sunday lunch buffet or during the week... often using the Coles discount voucher. It is also in the Entertainment Book. You can also drop in at lunch time take away a big curry rice for $9.95. Beats Macdonalds Nandos! Parking opposite, in street or shopping centre opposite. Our favourite dishes are: onion bhaji, garlic naan bread, butter chicken Aloo Baigan (potato eggplant), but everything is delicious! We have taken many family friends to the Indian Garden and all have loved it too. This fantastic value for money restaurant is highly recommended!
Excellent food, can’t be faulted. I have been a fairly regular customer of 11 years and regard Indian garden restaurant the best in WA.
