After a week of overcooked seafood this was a refreshing change..excellent, perfectly cooked very fresh mussels in a tomato garlic sauce for a very reasonable price. A nice little amuse bouche of salt cod bandade. Chefs special was a panko crusted baked cod, again cooked perfectly (as in, just cooked through, fresh and juicy. Rib eye was cooked just as ordered with a rich demi. View all feedback.
After a week of overcooked seafood, this was a delightful change. The shells were excellent—perfectly cooked and incredibly fresh, served in a delicious tomato garlic sauce at a very reasonable price. I also enjoyed a lovely amuse-bouche of salt-cod brandade. The kitchen's special was panko-baked cod, which was, once again, cooked to perfection—simple, fresh, and juicy. The ribeye was rich and flavorful, prepared with a robust demi-glace.
It was great to see you! The service was quick and friendly. The salmon and chicken were both delicious. I definitely plan to return.
We stayed at this inn and dined here on our first night in Norris Point. I ordered the duck, while my spouse chose the pork belly. Both dishes were excellent and met all our expectations. The inn offers a special each evening, but they need to have an idea of how many guests to expect by 10 PM for fresh shopping, so if you're not staying here, you might miss out on the specials. The wine list is quite good, though not extensive, and it’s clearly thoughtfully curated. Local Newfoundland beers are also available. Overall, we had a fantastic meal with plenty of options on the menu. On the night we were there, the special was lobster. Prices are typical for higher-quality meals in the area. I’ll definitely be back.
