My boyfriend and I loved this place when we lived in Bloomington. We always got the sushi bowls and everything was so fresh. We recently moved back and have tried to order from here three days in a row during the hours posted and they’ve been closed EVERY time. We’ve looked and haven’t seen anything about them closing so it’s getting pretty frustrating. View all feedback.
I LOVE this place! The sushi bowl is so good I can’t get myself to try anything else! Ordered many times and never had a single issue! The other thing I’d like to point out is how clean it is! Keep up the great work!!
Zen Express always makes me happy! Tonight marks 30 orders over the last 2 years and I have NEVER been disappointed...not once. I’m actually only upset with myself for not reviewing earlier. I almost always get a version of a loaded up 3 protein bowl when I go and it’s always so fresh and amazing. I highly recommend ordering through their website if you’re carrying out as to take in all the topping items and research the ones with odd names so you know exactly what you’re getting. When you arrive it’s always extra clean and the staff is very friendly. 5 stars and I always recommend to anyone who asks about sushi in town!

From what I see this place has been closed a few weeks. Not sure if it is temporary or not. I know the regular cook had to leave. Owners need to let us know.
After picking up my food, I chose one of the many lovely tables in the dining area, which was really inviting! The interior design and lighting were just perfect. Now, onto the food! In my experience with General Tso’s Chicken from other places, the chicken usually comes drenched in sauce. So, I found it a bit unusual that the sauce was served in a separate container, but that quickly became a non-issue. Everything was absolutely AMAZING! The chicken had a wonderful crispy texture and tasted incredibly fresh. I didn’t find a single piece of undercooked or chewy chicken, which often ruins my appetite! I’m quite picky about my meats, so this was a huge plus for me. The General Tso’s sauce was also outstanding—definitely the best I’ve ever had! This restaurant has officially become my new go-to spot! I couldn't be more satisfied—excellent food, great prices, a beautiful interior, a very clean restroom, and a spacious dining area. I would rate it a solid 5 out of 5!
