What Sirhc E dislikes about Jack's:
I had the seafood cioppino, which was very good, though my only criticism is that it was a bit too salty. My girlfriend ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and fries, and she said it was delicious. The prices were a little higher than I expected. View all feedback.

I really loved it here at Jack's! I visited yesterday and was seated and served immediately. The waiter was great with timing my water refills, he recommended amazing dishes, and we had such great conversations with him. The food tasted like it was a home cooked meal and the restaurant space is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend! (Get the portobello appetizer... I got the creamy gnocchi dish, and I would love to have it again. Service: Dine in
Just ate at Jack’s. Superb! The chicken roulade was outstanding with a creamy gentle sauce over two fork tender chicken breasts. I asked for roasted vegetables instead of potatoes- sooo good and seasoned perfectly. My husband ordered the stuffed flounder with the roasted potatoes, all of which he recommends. We topped off the meal with the baclava with ice cream- Yummy! Nice atmosphere, clean, pleasant service. Worth the price. We’ll be back! Parking: Handy location near strip mall
The chicken sandwich is absolutely amazing. Great service. Can handle medium sized groups we had a group of 12 and they did fantastic. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Mr Frank(owner) takes great pride in what he does, but is humble at the same time. The chef is Middle Eastern and prepares phenomenal dishes Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a fantastic restaurant to dine at. The prices are a bit on the higher side, so we only visit for special occasions, but they truly know how to make those moments feel special.
Service was very good and friendly. Cooks were extremely slow but the food was wonderful. I had the lamb sausage flatbread; my wife had the special salad, curry soup, and hummus to go. We were with a group of friends (8 total), and it was nearly an hour from the time we got there to the time the food started arriving.
My wife and I dined at Jack's this evening along with another couple. We started by sharing two appetizers: hummus and truffle black garlic deviled eggs. For the main course, we enjoyed an eight-skewer tower featuring lamb, steak, shrimp, chicken, and salmon. To finish off the meal, we shared baklava with ice cream and a Nutella crêpe crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was exceptional, and it truly ranked among the best meals we've had in quite a while. The service was excellent as well. I remember our server being very attentive…
They take long time to bring food also have only one waiter, food is little pricey but quality food. No drinks served but look like you can bring your own beer..
I went with a party of 8 on a Sunday evening. We all got different things (I had lamb rolls and Shepherd’s pie , and it was beautiful to see all of my friends enjoying their food so much. Mine was excellent, and if I happen to get back to Normal (ha ha! I’ll be going here again. The only complaint anyone had was that the food took a while, but it was SO worth the wait.

A restaurant with almost no parking, connected to a laundromat, next to Wendy's? This can't be a good place right? Oh boy is that not the case. Aesthetics: The first thing you'll notice when you walk in is that the inside's decor is very appealing! Nice atmosphere with TV paintings and wall outlets by edge tables. The food is all extremely appealing in design, and is well plated. It feels much more formal inside than you would expect outside. Drinks: They do not serve alcohol here, but do allow you to bring in your own and they provide glasses free of charge. They have tea, coffee and other standard sodas. (I can't remember if it was Pepsi or Coke, sorry Appetizers: We've been here several times and have had most of their appetizers and they're all delicious. One thing that sets Jack's apart is that all their condiments are home made (including the ranch)! The Truffle Black Garlic Deviled Eggs are my favorite. Food: I highly recommend the Bison Burger if you're a fan of burgers, it's one of my favorites in town; the aioli sauce on top is perfect. My wife typically gets the Charcuterie Board, which is an assortment of meats, vegetables and cheeses served with bite sized pieces of naan bread. If you're on a date, the skewer tower is a good option if you both want to share something. They serve you a flaming tower of 5 skewers with sides around the base similar to the Characuterie Board, with some additional options. Dessert: We got the House-Made Baklava and it was fantastic. Conclusion: My wife and I have been coming since this place opened, Jack's Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Normal and the chef owners really put a lot of effort into their food, and it shows. If you're a fan of Mediterranean, you would be doing yourself a disservice not to come here.
That was a great choice for dinner. the atmosphere was very pleasant. it was a little loud, but they had a food rush. the server where amazing and very helpful. I had thought about what I wanted to order, but they assured me that I loved it as it was, and I absolutely did. sad I can't remember the name of the teller, but it was a chicken dish with spinach and asparagus. I totally recommend it. that is a must go to the restaurant for dinner.
Everything was delicious! You have to try the deviled eggs, so yummy. The shrimp skewers were perfectly cooked and the veggie side had great flavor. This is a perfect date spot.
We drove on the way to az. place is a little strange. a kind of food club. no bar or beer wine. kept waiting for something that goes wrong or lacking. that was so, hidden gem! a glass wee would make it 5 stars.

Every item was amazing. We tried a bit of everything. Eggplant spread, lamb rolls, Beet salad, Gnocchi, Lamb and Chicken skewers, and baklavaFood: 5/5
We never considered this restaurant until reading a recent article about it. We always thought it was a diner like in LeRoy. Their menu interested us.Food was good. Not great, but definitely good. No complaints there.Service is really lacking. Our server seemed very....confused is the only word I can think of. It took quite awhile for him to come to our table for the first time and when he did he seemed confused. He warned us kitchen got slammed. We were in no hurry so didn't mind. We put in an appetizer dinner order. It took over 45 minutes to get our dinner. I'd rule it out to being his warning except that the 4some on one side of us 2some on the other who came in after us got their food before us. In fact, the 4some finished their dinner were paying the check before we got our dinner. After dinner, we ordered desserts. One came out (after another long wait) correctly. The other was a totally wrong order. We had to wait again for the second one to be corrected. Luckily, my wife and I planned to share the desserts it worked out.If you plan to eat here, bring a bottle of wine and patience.
I had the Lamb Sausage Flatbread which was amazing and my boyfriend had the Jacks Angus burger which was equally amazing. We had the Hummus starter which was delicious with carrots, cucumber and flatbread. Great service and very nice atmosphere.Food: 5/5
Am kicking myself for not stopping in before. Doesn't look like much outside but lovely interior. Had seafood cioppino and was awesome good portion size and prepared great!! Really nice to have such array of different dishes than get elsewhere. Didn't serve alcohol but let you bring own in. Service pleasant but bit slow, but think that's because I arrived ahead of dinner crowd
My wife and I stopped by Jack's restaurant for lunch, today. We had an appetizer of hummus. I had the stuffed flounder and my wife had the 6 ounce filet mignon. We shared a dessert of chocolate mousse. The hummus was delicious. My stuffed flounder was one of the best restaurant meals I have ever eaten. I've dined at more expensive restaurants. I've dined at fancier restaurants. I've dined at more exclusive restaurants. Not a one of them can match Jack's stuffed flounder. My wife's filet mignon was excellent, according to her. The chocolate mousse was excellent. The service was very good. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant. I highly recommend Jack's restaurant in Normal, Illinois. If you do go there, order the stuffed flounder. It is amazing. I will be back.

Jack's is one of my top spots in BloNo. Today, I tried the lunch combo special featuring Jack’s special salad and curried carrot soup, and both were fantastic! The soup had the perfect balance of curry spice, and I’m a big fan of salads with goat cheese. If you haven’t been yet, definitely give this place a shot!
Don't be fooled by the exterior—inside, the atmosphere is much more romantic than you might expect. The lighting is soft, the music enjoyable, and the staff professional. The Mediterranean menu offers a mix of sophisticated dishes alongside familiar favorites like flatbreads, sandwiches, and gyros. You can't go wrong with the meat skewers and grilled vegetables. I adore this little hidden gem and appreciate that it's easy to walk in and get a table. That said, I want everyone to know how wonderful this family-owned restaurant is so it stays around for good! I love this place!
My mom and I dined at this restaurant and were impressed by its cleanliness and attractive décor. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was outstanding! We sampled the roasted eggplant appetizer, the roasted beet salad, and the gnocchi, all of which were delicious.
I ordered Jack's Special Salad for lunch, and it was absolutely delightful. It featured a combination of greens, walnuts, raisins, pomegranate seeds, mandarin oranges, and goat cheese, all drizzled with a honey balsamic dressing. The service was outstanding, and the decor of the restaurant was stunning, creating an upscale ambiance. I truly enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend it for both lunch and dinner. Although I dined alone, I could easily see it being an ideal location for a romantic date as well. The women’s restroom was clean. I went on a Tuesday around 11:15 AM and was pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty, although a large group did arrive just before I left. For a quieter dining experience, I suggest visiting on a Tuesday during the opening hours.
I’ve previously ordered the bison burger to-go from this restaurant. Recently, I visited with a special friend, and we had a delightful experience with the flavorful lamb rolls and the wood grill skewer platter, which featured lamb, chicken, and shrimp—all expertly seasoned. The seating area is cozy but somewhat small, so I recommend making reservations for special occasions. The service was a bit slow, likely due to having only two staff members working, but it’s best to arrive before peak dining hours (we got there before 6). Overall, it’s a lovely place with friendly staff and delicious kabobs, although it is a bit on the pricey side.
