The stars are for amazing tasting food. AS long as the food is amazing, we can be lenient regarding other things.

Unfortunately, the halibut... read more The Pinsa Di Parma was a fantastic appetizer—beautifully presented and substantial enough to serve as a meal. I highly recommend it! Unfortunately, the halibut entrée was quite disappointing. The portion was small, overcooked, and drowned in a spicy peach sauce that did nothing to hide the poor quality of the fish. Additionally, my husband was served the wrong entrée. We chose Luce because he saw the rack of lamb on the online menu, but the waitress told him it would take an extra 20 minutes to prepare. At that point, we were too close to the cut-off time, so he ended up without an entrée and had to eat a side of pasta and the rest of my appetizer. I really don’t understand why servers don’t take notes on orders to avoid such mix-ups. The waitress started off unfriendly and became quite rude after the mistake, almost as if blaming us for the error. While the manager apologized for the 'miscommunication,' I would have preferred a straightforward acknowledgment like, "We're sorry we got your order wrong." He did remove the side of pasta and my husband's glass of wine from the bill after my husband requested a resolution. Overall, I understand that mistakes happen and that people have off days—this was a Monday evening, after all—but I won’t be returning to Luce during our visit to Norfolk.

Among our favo... read more We enjoyed a fantastic meal with family. Our server, Krystal, was incredibly attentive and friendly, providing us with excellent recommendations. Among our favorite dishes were the scallops with risotto and the wild boar ragu, both of which were outstanding. We also had the octopus as an appetizer, and it was fabulous! We can't wait to return!

We recently celebrated my... read more I have been to Luce a few times now, and have never been disappointed! I am constantly impressed by the service and the amazing food. We recently celebrated my mother?s birthday and were so incredibly pleased. Bella was our server (this was the secondtime she was our server) and she was excellent. She is attentive but doesn?t hover over the table. She is super knowledgeable ofthe menu and always offers great recommendations. She was even in on the cake we surprised my mom with. She is most definitelyan asset to Luce. Highly recommend Luce!
