Located right by the Bering Sea, this spot may be typical in terms of taste, service, and price (the prices are a bit high, but that’s to be expected in Nome), but the view through the windows is unbeatable. Nome is well-known for birdwatching, and where else can you enjoy a six-inch sub while spotting a rare bird flying by? The sandwich itself isn’t extraordinary, but the unique experience makes it special.
