My favorite coffee spot in norfolk. They have more than just coffee, which is nice as I’m trying to limit my caffeine these days. I love the Italian sodas. The friendliest staff ever, even when they are packed with customers they still go the extra mile to make sure you’re happy with your drink. View all feedback.
What Thalia Leon doesn't like about Alatte Cafe:
It is really sad to say that we’ve been here over 2 hours and have watched our server serve everyone else besides us. I’m quite disgusted. Had high hopes. The place is not even busy for us to be waiting to even put in a simple order. Can’t even make eye contact with any server cause we’re being avoided by everyone here. Guess I could say this place is pretty “white” washed and no poc are welcome. I had to go to the b... View all feedback.
Wowwww I am so glad I found this gem!!! The staff are so friendly; the vibe of the place is so chill and artsy and cozy; and it's clean and plays great music not too loudly, and there's an abundance of comfortable seating!! Loveee it, and will be back tons!!
This coffee shop is so cute cozy- they have two leather sofas. I really like the eccentric decor and the staff is super friendly! Bonus is that they have ice cream as well; perfect for the kiddos.

Alatte Cafe has some of the best coffee in town and really imaginative flavored lattes. Not to mention they have ice cream and an espresso milkshake or affogato is the adult way to eat ice cream. The staff is always friendly and the inside decor is eclectic and usually showcases art from the local art students. These are all reasons I drive out of my way and past many other coffee shops to get my cup of joe here.
I haven't had such delicious coffee in years! I notice that as an immigrant there is a lack of coffee culture in the USA, and this place really amazed me and made me feel at home. The Mocha Latte incredible! I recommend it. And the Lox Bagel....ufff! Exquisite!!! And the best of all is that it opens at 8 am on a Saturday! That's priceless! I'll be back when I'm in Norfolk again!
