BlackJack's Roadhouse - Nisku

We were staying at the Comfort Inn and found this place. It is a LARGE lounge with a licensed dining area and a games room. The decor is wild- needs to be seen to be appreciated. Furniture and booths very comfortable. Staff are fast and friendly. Food was fast and very plentiful. All good- really enjoyed ourselves. Good value for the money. Right off Hwy 2 at Hwy 19 but go east then north.

The place is a rustic restaurant and lounge. Great food and large portions. Staff is friendly as the are use to dealing with commercial drivers. Menu covers lots of choices and every time the meals are prepared well and flavourful. I have taken many friends here from all walks of life and they enjoy it. Not a dress up place but a good place.

Went here to have a late supper and watch some nhl playoffs. This place was great, the food was excellent and made us want to go back again. The service was quick and knowledgable. We quizzed about things to do in the area. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and was not disappointed, I would say it was one of the best I have had. I will definitely be stopping here again.

I went to Blackjacks Roadhouse with a group of 8 co-workers the other day. 3 of us orders the Chowmein special.The chowmein special consisted of 3 shrimp, some bits of chicken, some mystery meat, some reheated frozen vegetables slathered in VH sauce covering a bed of Mr. Noodles. All this for something like $14.00...What a deal!The service was terrible, the Mr. Noodles Chowmein was gross, there was nothing redeeming about this meal. Go someplace else, next time we will.

I've been to Blackjacks more than a few times over the past year and the service, food, drinks and "come as you are" atmosphere have always been very enjoyable. Every server I have seen there were great. There is a restaurant section for families, but you can sit anywhere in the bar and order from a full menu 24/7......yes, 24 hr breakfast!! Whether you just got in from a very late or early flight, or just happen to be in the area for a meal or some drinks, I recommend checking out Blackjacks Roadhouse.As an added note, if you are in the area during the summer and you are a motorcycle enthusiast, Tuesday evenings at Blackjacks are Bike night! Lots of bikes from all over show up here for a great time. The outdoor BBQ gets fired up and the burgers are excellent!! This past summer they were $5/burger and the proceeds went to a worthy charity.
