I originally ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese meal but was politely informed that they were out of hash browns and cookies. I decided to switch my order to a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant with a Diet Dr. Pepper instead. Unfortunately, it ended up costing the same, if not more, than the original meal, and I still missed out on those delicious hash browns. Given the current challenges facing the food service industry due to COVID, I understand the difficulties. However, I'm giving it 4 stars because I was really hoping for those hash browns.

I informed the staff twice that there was no toilet paper, but they assured me they would check on it. However, after 35 minutes, it still wasn't restocked.

However, in recent years, they have had several closures, and during our visit a couple of months ago, we were somewhat let down. Today, though, I went there for lunch with my parents and my young niece and nephew after church, and it was a completely different experience. The service was excellent, and the food was quite tasty. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and especially nice to the kids. We're really happy to have our beloved Hardee's back, and it will definitely be added to our rotation of restaurants for Sunday lunches.

The food was fantastic, especially the Spicy Chicken sandwich, which featured a juicy chicken breast and a light, non-greasy crust—absolutely delicious. The coffee is conveniently available next to the sodas in carafes, so refills are hot and hassle-free. But the standout aspect for us was the service; the staff were incredibly courteous and helpful. WOW! The only drawback is that they need to better promote their hours since they've reopened after a long closure. It would help to have a big "OPEN" sign illuminated early in the morning and during supper hours. We often drive by around 10 PM and see the big light on, but it’s not the same at 7 or 8 AM when we know you’re open! Additionally, having employees park in front of the building could indicate you're open for business. We really want Hardee's to thrive as part of the Niles community!
