Brickhouse - Niles

Four stars for service and ambiance. Loved the seating of the Comfy Couch Service was on point, low key,attentive and not overwhelming. Food a 3 star. Not great,but not bad. Sort of pricy for what we orderd. The food. ..I had brunch, the eggs ,homemade sausage,bacon,cheddar hashbrown pattie and Belgian waffle. 12.99 Hubs had the chicken pot pie. 11.99 Eggs cooked to perfection, hashbrown pattie was tasty and nice size,bacon thick and cooked just right...the sausage, well I nor my husband liked it. Very sage-ie tasting. Texture was dence,yet had a fine quality,but we just didn't care for it. Personal preference really. The Pie? Looked amazing,flaky crust and fresh. Just truly on the lean side as far as portion goes. Not a bust tho...I would give it another try,but I would go burger next time.

I remember getting take out from here a few years ago and being traumatized by how salty the prosciutto wrapped meatloaf was, though I clearly didn't update my review at that point. Maybe I was too busy chugging water to dilute all that sodium. Anyhow, we decided to give Brickhouse another good ol' college try, and that came in the form of a dinner take out meal. We both chose the steak tips dinner, which comes with crispy onion strings and half a twice baked potato. For $15, the entree size was about right. On first glance, it might look small, but those calories do add up. The meat was on the slightly salty side, but nothing like the meatloaf of nightmares past. Noted that the take out container was way too big/overpackaged for the food, so that might be feedback for the restaurant. Waitstaff I interacted with was very friendly, and it looks like they have a good happy hour crowd on weekdays. Patio has an outdoor fire pit too. Cool!

Wow. This place has so much potential but will never return. It's got a cute outdoor patio that is in need in the neighborhood but the service is terrible. Food is not so good either. Brunch menu is very limited. $2 mimosas. The only good thing on the menu is the French toast. It's a place that should be packed because the neighborhood needs it but it's no wonder the place is always empty. People probably gave it a try and never returned. Surprised it's still open to this day.

I was out in the burbs and my friend and I were looking for a spot to take in the beautiful spring day outdoors. She ended up taking me here and I had a really good time. I like the set up. Indoor there's a bar, tables, game area, and it's surrounded by TVs. Outdoor you have a patio area with a few tvs and my favorite part a warm fire pit. We opted for the outdoors. We ordered the wild mushroom pizza, which wasn't bad, but we were mainly there for drinks. My friend stuck with the Stella they had on special for $4. I went the cocktail route. The first one I had was the Zombie, which that one your limited to only 2. I don't know if my alcohol tolerance has increased, but it did nothing for me (Barcardi Rum, Barcardi 151, Captain Morgan, pineapple, orange, and topped with Myers dark rum) I also had the Carolina Sweet Tea cocktail and I enjoyed that one a lot better. All in all this is a great place to kick it after work in the burbs.

Your somewhat typical suburban bar/tavern establishment. If you 're looking for a place to for some tasty American fare, while kicking back and watching the game at individual booth flat screen TVs, consider Brickhouse. They boast a cheap beer bongs and half beer bongs which are awesome, and their food is actually pretty good. I tried a slice of the kobe brick pizza, which boasts marinara, wagyu beef, brick cheese, caramelized onions, oven roasted tomatoes, crispy bacon arugula. I would coin this more of a flatbread, than your typical round tire pizza and the order was huge. I honestly couldn 't tell whether the grounded beef was wagyu beef or McDonald 's beef nothing really stood out, but the pizza itself was delicious. For $11 you can 't beat the price for the portion size. The burgers that were coming out of the kitchen looked REALLY good, but I opted for a grilled chicken sandwich, which had cheese, bacon, and a sriracha mayo sauce I got on the side. Sandwiches came with a choice of fries or tots, and I opted for the tots with cajun seasoning. The tots were definitely money. I wish the chicken sandwich had more chicken it was a sliver of chicken, probably no more than 3 oz of meat. Overall, Brick House is a pretty cook place to hangout with friends, grab a drink or bong (beer bong! and watch the game on their couches, while munching on some good ol ' 'Merica cuisine. BATHROOM REVIEW: The bathrooms in here were super clean, boasting floor to chest tall urinals, so if you 're drunk, it 's still hard to miss. Stall doors looked super sturdy and everything was in working order. One guy was so smitten in there that he didn 't mind hanging out and just talking on his cellphone the whole time I was there. Sit or squat? Sit!
