Caliburger - Niles

I LOVE In-N-Out... So far, although I've read numerous reviews of this burger joint, all mixed, I do have to say, it's as damn near close to an In-N-Out burger I've had in Manila, or anywhere else in the Philippines for that matter. Most of the reviews I've read we're so critical of this place, I was so skeptical at first. I just happened to be in Rockwell one day and thought I would give it a try, one bad burger ain't gonna kill me... I hope! Glad I did it! Had the double double equivalent, fries and a coke... Honestly, I went back for a second double double, a fries and another coke! Hence my naturally curvy sexy shape! The burger was about as close as you're going to get, let's not mistake this is not an In-N-Out, but I'm willing to say I enjoyed their food very much, and as close as anyone will get as far as I can tell here in the PH. Now, I've been here a year now, and I will say, I'm happy I tried CaliBurger. I've been a regular there anytime I'm in Makati.

The food is just ok. The Caliburger I ordered is big enough and has lots of ingredients in it. However, it's just too salty for me. As for the kids meal, the nuggets doesn't taste good and my nephew only had one bite of his meal. He did enjoy playing with the colored ketchups that come with it though and he did finish the fries. We all loved it because it tastes like real potatoes. The place is really nice for hanging out. It's too spacious. They also have a big screen for those who loves watching while eating and an XBOX!

Their burgers were alright, not bad but not super delicious either. Its kind of pricey considering the size of their beef patties, but I like how they use fresh ingredients and their sides are delicious

Honestly, I couldn't taste the beef in my Cali Cheeseburger. I could feel the coarse texture of the patty, but all I tasted was the sauce. It overpowered everything else and my breath smelled like onions the rest of the day. Points go to service and ambiance of the place.

If you're a California or US native put this on your very bottom of places to eat list. Burger was bland, and the bread had any ensaymada texture of it being chewy. One of the cashiers was accommodating in my order and thus rated a second star. Nice area to eat, big tv. I guess what I really paid for was the environment of the place it was being served and not the food itself.
