This is the first time my wife and I ate at Marinette. The staff were very welcoming, the atmosphere classic French cafe, and the food outstanding. The restaurant/cafe is nestled back in old town on a small pedestrian zone street. Next time we visit Nice, we will eat here again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €40–50
A terrace located in a quiet and shaded alley of Old Nice. We settle under a parasol around a table without chichis. I loved the raspberry lemonade. Served as a carafe, it is very refreshing. Pastry is sweet, but we're having fun! I finally found the Vegan Chantilly. Amazing but delicious.
The good addresses are numerous in Nice, but when it comes to testing a new address little dej (my favorite meal in the day), I am necessarily more than partant. After hearing many and many times about Marinette Kitchen, I finally decided to go see the restaurant closer! Here's my opinion on this new appointment of breakfast lovers, brunch and other delicious little home dishes. The restaurant's setting: Located in a small street in the old Nice, you can see the restaurant from a distance thanks to its pretty colorful umbrellas that immediately gives the smile when you pass in front. Inside, we discover a warm place that reminds us of our grandmother’s country house with a small touch of extra modernity. Walls in exposed stones, tables in solid wood, bistro chairs side by side with displays filled with pastry to make you drink. Dish side, pretty cups made of decayed porcelain, wooden plates and coconut bowls that give a real cozy spirit to the place.
