The wa... read more We’ve eaten here before and really enjoyed it. We booked a table for 1pm but 3 of us arrived early and asked if would be ok to sit at our table and wait. The waiter agreed. The restaurant was by no means full but the waiter kept asking us when our friend was arriving, even though it still wasn’t the time of our booking yet. In the end we ordered just to keep him quiet. We felt rushed, at the end too, it seemed as though they wanted to clear away lunch service and leave. The staff didn’t smile at us once. Pasta was nice. Fish was a little oily. We ordered a carafe of wine but he said they only had bottles or half bottles. I didn’t check the price on the menu and he charged us a lot for a half bottle. I think I will look elsewhere in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this special place. Even the desserts were amazing. Thank you for a memorable meal and experience.

Just the chairs were uncomfortable, their seats hollowed out with age.

Disappointed with the food, my husband had Tempura Frogs L... read more We hadn’t booked a table but were lucky a few became free on our arrival. Friendly and helpful staff. Disappointed with the food, my husband had Tempura Frogs Legs, the batter was no different than you would get on a piece of cod from a chip shop! This was redeemed with the Beef cheek and gnocchi stew which he said was delicious. I had ravioli which was very disappointing, there was just no flavour. Sadly this is not somewhere I would recommend.
