We happened on this brasserie whilst exploring the neighbourhood near our apartment and it was busy, with what were clearly local regulars eating.Between the th... read more We happened on this brasserie whilst exploring the neighbourhood near our apartment and it was busy, with what were clearly local regulars eating.Between the three of us we ordered the lasagne and the omelette, dishes from the daily specials, believing these would be dishes they do well, and indeed they did! The lasagne sheets were thin and slightly crispy, just right, and the sauce simple, not overburdened with tomato, just light and delicious.The omelette was perfect-fluffy, slightly browned on the base, with just enough of the right cheese to give ample flavour but not overwhelm the egg.Service was great, we were offered bread, water, and the food arrived quite quickly, was well presented but unpretentious basic local fare.
