It was our last day in Nice and we wanted something fast and easy. So we looked for burger spots. We decided for LaPlanxa because it was 2 minutes from our hote... read more It was our last day in Nice and we wanted something fast and easy. So we looked for burger spots. We decided for LaPlanxa because it was 2 minutes from our hotel. We sat down outside and immediately received some cold water for our table (on the house) We both decided for the burger. They asked how we wanted the meat (we wanted medium rare) and that's exactly how we received it! The burger was DELICIOUS! We ate so fast we forgot to take pictures. I'm a cheese lover so I really appreciated the amount of cheese there was in this burger. They also used coleslaw instead of normal salad in the burger which was amazing! The quality of this thing was sky high for only 10,5€. There was also a salad and great potato fries. We also ordered dessert: A Kinder Bueno milkshake (comes with the chocolate bar) and the salted caramel macaroon (comes with vanilla ice cream and strawberry jam drizzle) we ate it all up and also received an espresso each (comes for free with every menu). We both loved this place and regretted not eating here the first night as well! Great service, both men that night spoke English very well (always a plus). Wonderful experience.

I got the skewers and both the beef and chicken were pretty tough and chewy. My fries were also good but many were on the verge of being raw and due to us being placed outside everything got cold very quickly. Note, the whole menu is online in English with pictures which are much nicer to help make your selection.
