Was Thibault Guyon at La Flara a mag?

What Théodore Perrot dislikes about La Flara:

Ambiance sympa.

Like another review we stumbled on la flara if we are looking for much more researched restaurants in the harbour from nizza last night of our family holiday. we had eaten our way through this wonderful maritime city over the last seven days quite literally, but wanted to experience real Provençal foo before we return home. there was no menu book, but several large wall boards set a confusing selection of options that was completely amazing on the first. the charming waiter explained how the options were structured. they can choose from the special board for starter or main course) or choose their choice of pastas and then choose their sauce from an impressive list. our party of five (my wife and me and three or our four daughters) decided to share a baked camembert (served with plunging broth) and teller Provençal specialties. the camembert was no less wonderful than expected, but this was really spectacular symphony even. one of the most unforgettable dishes I have ever tasted. what a start in our meal! the mains were a plate of gnocchi with nothing more challenging than melted butter a great test of a cook tagliatelle with daube provençal stew), tagliatelle again, but with a more universal carbonara, a plate of charcuterie and a chorizo pizza. the gnocchi was the most perfect one I ever tasted. soft cushions that are just offered the right level of resistance before they completely capitulate. no parmesan or seasoning required. sheer perfection. a fast tasting of carbonara confirmed the excellent judgement of the kitchen. again as good as I tasted. the daube was beautifully balanced and actually worked with the tagliatelle. the pizza was unfortunately gone before I could taste it. I am sure it was the best pizza in nizza. we are not a desert man, so I have nothing to say on this front. but if I return to nizza (and I sincerely hope that I do. it is a wonderful city that I would search with the same determinedness from la flara that I would look for the best medium-priced restaurants. that was an absolute discovery!

We chose this restaurant, because it looked really cosy and had a menu with simple Italian dishes. The pasta with porcini mushrooms was excellent and the Italian style pizza was also very good. The waitress, who was friendly and attentive, recommended a red wine that...was just perfect. The only slight disappointment was the dessert: the panna cotta had not set so it was too liquid and we both thought that the berry sauce was too sweet. Otherwise, we were very happy with this restaurant and will certainly go there again.
